Turtle

Meet Turtle. Yes, that's right... a dog (actually, she's technically still a puppy at only 5months old) named Turtle. This cute little puppy is a mix between a Silky Terrier and a Toy Poodle and she is my little Eko's best friend in the world.

When trying to describe Turtle to people the first thing that always pops into my mind is that she is one of the happiest puppies that you could ever meet in your life. Her curly, little tail is always wagging and she's always ready to give tons of puppy kisses. Turtle also has some of the best ears I've ever seen and yes, she does have complete control over all of their movements. It's actually quite amazing to watch as she pricks them up or folds them back depending on how aerodynamic she wants to be, especially when she's romping around in the backyard with Eko.

I'm so happy that Eko has a friend (exactly a week younger than Eko) that she gets to play and visit with almost daily. There is a gate connecting my backyard to Turtle's family's backyard and a day doesn't go by that you don't see the two little puppies staring longingly at each other right up against the fence.
