Fairy Lake

Yesterday I ventured up to visit a friend in Newmarket and we decided to walk along Main Street, stop at Poochini's Bakery (a lovely shop with homemade dog treats that dogs go nuts for!) and walk around Fairy Lake. I had never been on a hike around there (and I say hike because I felt like I was walking forever - but in a fun way!) and I really enjoyed it. My friend brought along her two shepherd/border collie mixes, Shadow (black and white) and Penny (tan, black and white) and I brought along Eko. Rio sat this trip out as I thought it was going to rain and he's not a fan of car rides.

After a few hours of walking, stopping for some tasty treats (mmm... cheese and liver twists!), watching some geese and trampling in some water, it was time to head home. All the dogs were happy, dirty and full and as soon as Eko was back in the car she passed out. That's a sign of a happy dog.
